Philanthropy Director
The Philanthropy Director leads the organization’s fundraising strategy and development efforts to advance its mission and long-term sustainability. This role is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive fundraising programs, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing all aspects of philanthropic giving, including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and campaigns. The Philanthropy Director partners closely with executive leadership, the board of directors, and external stakeholders to build a strong culture of giving and ensure revenue goals are achieved. As a director this position provides strategic direction and organizational leadership, aligning departmental operations, resources, and initiatives with long-term business objectives while providing cross organizational insight and leadership.
The Philanthropy Director is a full-time remote position. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A minimum of five (5) years' leadership experience and five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in leading nonprofit fundraising. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, business management, communications, marketing, public administration or related field.
The target compensation for this position is $102,000 - $136,000.
