Compliance & Privacy Officer - Remote
The Compliance & Privacy Officer is a full-time remote position with preference to those located in MT, ND, SD, UT, WY, and WA. This position examines, evaluate, and investigate eligibility for or conformity with laws and regulations governing contract compliance and perform other compliance and analysis activities. This position is an ad hoc member of the executive leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) regarding any compliance concerns. This position plays a key role in providing multi-state compliance, regulations, privacy, contract support, and support to the executive leadership; and system and procedure development and maintenance for contracts. The Compliance and Privacy Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s compliance and privacy programs to ensure adherence to federal and multi-state healthcare regulations, contract law, including HIPAA, HITECH, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and other applicable laws while supporting the executive leadership team. This role promotes a culture of integrity, ethics, and accountability while ensuring the protection of patient and organizational data.
The successful candidate would have strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Healthcare Compliance, Auditing, or equivalent experience/education and at least 5 years of Healthcare Compliance/Regulation experience is preferred. Targeted compensation for this position is $62,500 - $83,400 a year.
